Solid Wood Type: Solid wood cabinet doors, often in a classic style, are typically more expensive. Solid wood doors are further divided into solid wood core doors and solid wood veneer doors. The door frames are generally solid wood, primarily in cherry, walnut, and oak colors. The door core can be made of medium-density fiberboard with a solid wood veneer, or it can be made of solid wood. During manufacturing, the solid wood surface is usually textured with raised or recessed designs and then painted to maintain the original wood color and create a beautiful shape. This ensures the unique visual effect of solid wood, while the combination of the frame and core ensures the strength of the door panel.
Bamboo Type: Bamboo cabinets (BAMBOO KITCHEN CABINET), also known as "bamboo kitchen furniture," are household appliances that integrate cooking, washing, storage, fume extraction, dining, and bar functions. Bamboo cabinets are a perfect physical carrier for combining various kitchen utensils, functional components, and kitchen appliances in modern, European, and American integrated kitchens, and an artistic embodiment of the bamboo kitchen design concept. Therefore, they are destined to be the mainstream of integrated kitchens today and in the future. In a sense, we can even equate the design aesthetics of a complete bamboo kitchen with those of a complete bamboo cabinet. Bamboo cabinets consist of bamboo wall cabinets, bamboo base cabinets, bamboo craft cabinets, bamboo moldings, bamboo Roman columns, countertops, and various functional hardware accessories.
Thermoformed type: Thermoformed panels use MDF as the base material, with the surface vacuum-formed or formed using a one-time seamless PVC film pressing process. Thermoformed door panels offer rich colors, realistic wood grain, pure and vibrant solid colors, and are crack-resistant, deformation-resistant, scratch-resistant, heat-resistant, stain-resistant, and fade-resistant. It is the most mature cabinet material and requires simple daily maintenance. Thermoformed door panels are a very mature and popular cabinet material in Europe. The quality of the door panel is mainly determined by the film used.
Melamine-faced type: This type involves soaking paper with different colors or textures in melamine resin adhesive, drying it to a certain degree of curing, and then laying it on the surface of particleboard, MDF, or hardboard, followed by hot pressing. Domestically produced melamine-faced panels meet international standards in all aspects.
Molded Type: This type uses MDF as the base material and PVC as the surface layer, formed by high-temperature hot pressing. It is divided into two main categories: matte molded panels and high-gloss molded panels, and can be processed into various shapes. The surface layer can be domestic or imported, with imports generally coming from South Korea, Japan, and Germany. The difference between imported and domestic products lies in the thickness and wear resistance of the surface layer.
Metallic Texture Type: This type consists of finely brushed and polished metal or imitation metal panels with a dense protective layer on the surface. This material has excellent wear resistance, high-temperature resistance, and corrosion resistance, and is easy to maintain. It has a delicate texture, is easy to clean, and has a long lifespan. With the rise of the metallic trend, this high-end metallic texture door panel has become increasingly popular. Among them, aluminum veneer embossed panels are the most high-end type. However, they are expensive and suitable for ultra-high-end decorations that pursue global trends.
Painted Type: Painted panels use MDF as the base material, and the surface is coated with imported paint through six sprayings (three base coats, two top coats, and one clear coat) and then baked at high temperatures. The term "baked lacquer" used for kitchen cabinets simply describes a process: the base material door panel is painted and then dried in a heated oven. Baked lacquer panels are characterized by their vibrant colors, ease of shaping, strong visual impact, high aesthetic appeal, excellent water resistance, strong stain resistance, and ease of cleaning. Disadvantages include high processing requirements, a high scrap rate, and consequently, a high price; they also require careful handling as they are susceptible to bumps and scratches, and once damaged, they are difficult to repair and often require complete replacement; color differences can easily occur in kitchens with heavy oil fumes.
Fireproof boards: These have vibrant colors, various edge banding options, and advantages such as wear resistance, high temperature resistance, scratch resistance, impermeability, easy cleaning, moisture resistance, colorfastness, a smooth texture, and affordability. Fireproof board door panels use particleboard, moisture-resistant board, or MDF as the base material, with a fireproof veneer. Domestically produced fireproof door panels are cheaper, while Korean and German panels cost approximately 25% and 50% more, respectively.
